5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They help the site remember your preferences and help us understand how visitors use it. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and scripts.
| Type | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Needed for the website, forms and security to work | Session, form and spam-protection cookies |
| Analytics | Show how visitors find and use our pages so we can improve them | Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity |
| Marketing | Measure ad performance and show relevant ads on other platforms | Google Ads tag, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag |
| Preference | Remember choices such as cookie consent | Consent banner cookie |
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the website work.
To opt out of Google Analytics across websites, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can manage ad preferences through your Google and Meta account settings.
6. Client Data and Access to Marketing Platforms
To deliver our services, clients often give us access to their business accounts and data. We treat this access as confidential and use it only for the agreed work.
- Account access: We may be given access to Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Meta Business Suite, Merchant Center, website CMS, hosting or similar tools. We prefer user-level or manager access over shared passwords.
- Purpose limits: We use client data only to analyse performance, run campaigns, make agreed website changes and prepare reports for that client.
- Customer data of clients: If a client’s account contains their own customers’ personal data, such as leads or CRM contacts, we process it on the client’s instructions and do not use it for our own purposes.
- AI tools: We use AI-assisted tools for research, analysis and content work. We do not enter clients’ confidential or personal data into AI tools without a business need and appropriate safeguards.
- End of engagement: When a project ends, we return or delete client data we hold, and the client can remove our access from their platforms. We may keep reports and records where the law requires.
Specific confidentiality and data handling terms may also be set out in a client’s contract or NDA. Where they differ from this policy, the contract applies.
7. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only in the limited cases below:
- Service providers: trusted vendors who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email (Google Workspace), CRM and email marketing tools, analytics, payment processing and cloud storage. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
- Advertising and analytics platforms: Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft, through the cookies and tags described in Section 5.
- Professional advisers: accountants, auditors and legal advisers, under confidentiality.
- Legal requirements: government authorities, courts or law enforcement when required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- Business changes: a buyer or successor if Clickorio is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We require third parties to protect your information and handle it in line with applicable law.
8. Marketing Communications and Opt-Out

These include HTTPS encryption on our website, two-factor authentication on business accounts, role-based access for our team, secure cloud storage and confidentiality obligations for staff and vendors. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected people and the relevant authorities as required by law.
International transfers. Some of our service providers, such as cloud, email and analytics tools, may store or process data on servers outside India. When this happens, we rely on providers that apply strong security standards and we transfer data only as permitted under Indian law.
